Pink, so much Pink
Happy Friday
Its the weekend... Also I hate to rub it in but I have Monday and Tuesday off work and I cannot wait. A long weekend to enjoy celebrating my sisters birthday, dog walking and nail painting! Perfection. I am totally in love with these nails! For those of you who dont know I am a pink fiend! Literally pink hair, pink clothes, pink accessories... even a pink collar on my little girl Lily dog :). If you dont believe me check out my personal insta... @louisejane231 :))

I hope you week has been full of fun so far? Mine is flying by a little too quickly! I have something on every night and am crazy busy at work too. I dont mind this week going quickly though as I am really looking forward to the weekend. It is the fabulous Miss Bunn's 30th bday and she is having a 1920's themed party :)

Pretty Pink with Paisley
Happy happy Thursday!
Almost the weekend my loves. I've had a really good and positive four days at work. Time has flown by, I feel like I have achieved a lot and once the weekend arrives I feel like I will deserve the downtime.
Tonight I am showing you the nails I wore to the Polo a few weekends ago, not my finest work but in real life they looked much better and I just adore this paisley print.

Swatch: Barry M Gelly: Rosehip
Good evening lovelies
How was your weekend? Mine was really good. On Saturday we went for a girly day at the races. We dressed up in our finery, hopped on the train with a bottle of bubbles and soon arrived at the race course where we spent the day people watching, catching up on gossip, enjoying a few tipples and of course placing a few bets. On Sunday I attended Cooper's 1st Birthday BBQ. It was a huge turnout of friends and family and we had a fantastic time, the food was amazing (as always at the Millers) and the company was superb. We laughed the night away until it was time to finally leave and chill out for a few hours at home.

This week has been all about gel nails for my lovely clients. Tonight is no exception, however the client just so happens to be my little sis :-). We are going to do Laura's nails and then cook ourselves something lovely for tea and chill out with our four doggies and a glass of wine.

For my birthday last month my good friend Faye bought me three of the new fabulous Revlon Parfumerie polishes. I have been dying to try these out since I first saw the UK Press Release and I was not disappointed.

Blue and Pink Dry Marble nails
Hey lovelies
I just realised it is about time I share my birthday nails with you (given that we are now a week past the special date). I was very lucky this year and got to celebrate my birthday over several days with some very special people. On the Saturday before my birthday, 9 of my closest friends and I went for a meal at a steak house called Middletons. We ate fantastic food and indulged in a bottle or three of Prosecco. We then moved to a wine bar where we might have got through another three bottles and I might have downed a Limoncello shot! I decided to wear a very bold blue dress so of course my nails needed to be a little something special...

Comparison: Barry M Grapefruit versus Barry M Pink Punch
Happy Saturday loves
Had such a nice day today. We arranged a mother daughter dog walk this morning and once we had built up huge appetites by walking around the old quarry we drove to the Swan Inn at Ringland for deli sharing boards and a glass of wine. It was really good to spend time with both my sis and my mum and catch up on all the latest news and gossip.
As my comparison post from earlier in the week proved popular I hope you dont mind another one...

Swatch: Barry M: 50 Years of Superdrug
Happy Hump day
I treated myself to three days off work this week as an extended birthday break. I am loving the time away from my usual routine and have taken full advantage of not getting up at 6am (the pups still get me up at 7.15am at the latest!). I have instead enjoyed the delights of multiple cups of tea in bed and early morning TV. After refreshments the pups and I have taken some beautiful walks in and around Norfolk, really taking in the beautiful scenery and the wonderful peace and quiet.

Easter Bunny Nails
Happy Easter Monday loves
I have had another lovely day and am glad I have been able to really make the most of this four day weekend. Today started with breakfast with the girls. As the weather is much better than forecast we managed to get a lovely table outside overlooking the grounds of a local leisure club, each of us ordered the full works and happily gossiped a few hours away :-). After that I went on a lovely dog walk with my sister and her fox reds and then spent the later part of the afternoon cuddled up on the sofa with two very sleepy staffys.

I have a busy day today as I have my sisters two dogs over to play with my two dogs. It is very distracting having four beautiful dogs to run around and play outside with so my list of jobs to be done around the house will just have to wait!

I have whole day of fun with my little sis and our four dogs and tonight I am very excited to be heading to a friends house for Greek food! Faye cooks lovely food and bakes fantastic desserts so we will certainly eat well tonight :-).

Swatch: Barry M Aquarium: Caspian and Treasure Chest
Good evening lovelies
Hope you all had fantastic weekends? Over too quickly as always but I have had a really good couple of days. Saturday I did the usual house stuff and then I went to my friend Jamie's to do my first childrens nail party! It was her daughter Casey's 9th birthday so I spent the afternoon painting seven lots of teeny tiny nails with lots of bright colours, plenty of glitter and even some funky french tips. It went really well and I had a lovely afternoon.
Today was Sister Sunday :-), so me and the little sis went into the city, shopped a little, ate a lot and then headed home for a dog walk and a Vampire Diaries DVD session. Bliss!
