Tonight my sister Laura and I are off to see Professor Green at a venue on the local University campus. We got the tickets almost a year ago so its been a long time coming but we are looking forward to a cheeky week night out :-).

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend? The weather was fantastic here in the UK so we dusted off the BBQ for the first time in 2014 and enjoyed peppered steak, salmon soaked in garlic butter and vegetable kebabs. Yummy!

I just love knowing that it is a bank holiday so I can turn my alarm off for tomorrow morning and stay up a little bit later tonight :-). Today I have been dog sitting for my Mum's beagle, Ben. I managed to successfully take all three dogs on two very nice walks and even as I type Ben is snoring (loudly) next to my feet. Happy and content little doggy pack.

Another week flies by... Tonight I am planning a date night with Mr LiPP. I am going to cook us a nice three course meal (to be fair I will likely cheat and buy the dessert) and treat us to a bottle of something bubbly to get the weekend underway. We have some decorating that needs to be finished and as we are busy for the next four weekends its a bit of a now or never situation. It will be worth it in the end :-)

I left my least favourite until last. Now in all honesty I have to admit I like these pictures. The colour looks pretty as it has quite an obvious pink undertone which suits me much more and the formula was lovely to work with.

However there is no getting away from the fact that its red... and I dont like red nails!

How has your week been so far? Mine has flown by as its busy (but in a good way) at work. Tonight myself and the little sis are at Mums for tea. Its been nice today knowing that I could look forward to being cooked for and that I also get a chance to catch up on proper girly gossip time with Mum and Sis.

What a fantastic weekend. On Friday night we went to a Spanish themed night at a friends house and ate the most amazing tapas and paella dishes all made from scratch by our hosts Jordan and Faye. On Saturday it was 'Sister Day' so Laus and I meet up with the dogs at midday, went on a lovely walk at the old quarry site and then had a fab lunch with a gin tinnie :-). Saturday evening we had a night of make up and wine. We each picked an extreme make up look and then recreated it. We had such a laugh and the pictures were awesome!

I have the most beautiful swatch to share with you tonight. I recently indulged (read overindulged) in nail polish gift sets from Boots. I just could not resist the fantastic half price promotions and ended up sneaking 6 sets into my shopping bag. I didnt confess to my sister until we had left the store as she would definitely have made me put a few back :-)
