Skittlette: Flowers and Glitter
Happy Friday
Time for funtime Friday nail art! This idea has been going round and round in my head for a while, I just love turquoise and pink as a colour combo but with the addition of the dark silver glitter I was over the moon with how these turned out.

Blackened Blue with bling
Good evening lovelies
Ever since I received this beautiful colour in the Pink Nail Mail Box from the lovely Vicky over at The Polish List I have been dying to use it. I love colours like this that are just so beautiful there is no need for fancy nail art or stamping so I decided to keep things very simple.

Silver Bling: Textured nails
Happy Tuesday
Back to work for me today but I dont mind as its only a four day week and then I have all of next week off. Fingers crossed for sunshine :-). Last night was our monthly sister night out to Yo Sushi. I just love that place and always look forward to our 'Blue Mondays'!
Tonight I am sharing a blinged up textured mani with you...

Beautiful Blue with Pretty Petal Gems
Good evening lovelies
Usually I am so glad when it gets to Wednesday because it usually means the worst part of the week at work is over, however as I am currently on holiday I kind of wish time would slow down! We had another lovely day and tonight we are off to the Jamie Oliver restaurant... :-).
These beautiful nails are actually from the weekend but they lasted so well and I just could not bring myself to remove all the little gems. I got lots of compliments about these nails while we were in the city yesterday.
I started with a nice simple base of Essie Bikini So Teeny. The perfect periwinkle blue with just a very subtle hint of silver micro glitter.
Then using an orange stick (and lots of patience) I added each flower centre and flower petal individually. I wanted each nail to be different so I changed not only the position of each flower but also the colour.
A close up of my ring finger...
These nails were a little labour of love but I was so pleased with the results and they looked lovely with my favourite navy dress when we went out for the evening.
Do you like this kind of nail art look or is it a little fussy for your tastes? It made such a nice change from my usual stamped manicures - I am glad I put in the extra effort on this one :-)

Roses and Bling Baby
Hope you are all having fantastic weekends?
Our meal at Loch Fyne last night was gorgeous :-). We had good food, fine wine and great company! The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas with a huge tree at the main entrance, pretty decorations around the room and crackers at our place settings. It was the perfect background for our festive gathering.
I just couldn't decide what to do with my nails and as time was getting away from me I painted ten black canvases and waited for the creativity to take over, here is what I ended up with...
I have wanted to create a pure bling accent nail for a little while now but just need the right occasion... what could be a better occasion than our first Christmas meal of the year :-).
I stamped all my other nails with the large rose design from plate BM323 using Barry M Silver Foil. I thought it would make a nice change to use Black and Silver together as I usually lean toward Black and Gold.
Finally I repainted my ring finger with one coat of Barry M Silver Foil as I thought the black base would show through too much. While the Silver Foil was still wet I placed each rhinestone individually. I worked quite quickly but had prepared in advance by tipping all the rhinestones out onto a placemate, turning them all right way up and keeping them in a neat line that I could just work along.
I was so pleased with the results and 24 hours later every single gem is still in place and they feel as secure as they did when I first applied them last night.
Enjoy the rest of your weekends lovelies
