Pink and Copper: Glitter Gradient
Good evening lovelies
This week has been all about gel nails for my lovely clients. Tonight is no exception, however the client just so happens to be my little sis :-). We are going to do Laura's nails and then cook ourselves something lovely for tea and chill out with our four doggies and a glass of wine.
Here are my nails of the day... Super simple...

Buried Treasure Flowers
Happy Friday!
As this post goes live we will be on our way to the airport! Tomorrow morning we fly to Bulgaria for a week of celebrations with friends and loved ones. I have scheduled just a few posts to keep my much treasured blog going whilst I am away :-). Here is how I 'dressed up' the beautiful swatch of Buried Treasure.

Swatch: Buried Treasure by Orly
Good evening lovelies
Just a simple little swatch post from me as I am getting for a meal at Loch Fyne with my little sis. We ate at Loch Fyne several times over Christmas and it was beautiful each time so I really looking forward to trying their set menu tonight.
This is a swatch I have been dying to get around to as this polish was on my lemming list for what seemed like forever. I could not believe my luck when I found it in the sale for £2 :-).

Blue and Bronze recreation
TGI Friday lovelies! Whoop whoop!
Tonight I decided to recreate one of my most favourite manicures from last year but using darker colours. The manicure I am referring to is of course the picture I use as my blogger and twitter profile - the coral and white cream slice creation!
I love how this Konad pattern is so easy to stamp but looks like such a detailed marble manicure...
I started with two gorgeous coats of Barry M Navy. One of my absolute favourites and the first polish I purchased a back up bottle of (just in case!).
For the stamping I decided not to turn to my traditional Barry M Foils but to instead try out this little bottle of Bronze foil by Primark. I was so pleased when it turned out to be perfect for stamping so you are bound to see it more in the future :-).
So what do you think of my wintery darker version of my favourite manicure from last year?
Here is a little reminder of my summer version... LOVE!
I am loving both versions but the coral version has a special place in my heart :-)
What plans do you have this weekend? Lots of fun stuff I hope?!

It's the Final Countdown
Tonight the London 2012 Olympics draws to a close with what promises to be a closing ceremony to remember. I have loved every moment of the Olympics and feel a huge amount of patriotic pride for what our country has achieved by hosting such a successful games. Team GB have been amazing and each and every medal has just increased my interest in the whole event more and more.
This manicure is dedicated to our final medal count. Overall we finished in third place with an incredible tally of 65 medals!
Well done Team GB - you have done us proud
