Just time for a quick swatch post tonight. This very pretty duochrome polish has been in my untrieds since last December. I had a Ciate advent calendar so each day I got the best surprise of a new mini bottle of nail polish. Better than a chocolate ANY day!

Where did the weekend go? Mine went past in a blur of catching up with friends, eating great food and of coursing drink great wine :). On Friday night our old boos Paul came to visit us so we went for a lovely meal at a wine bar and then out into the city for drinks with colleagues. It was a great night and we danced until the lights came up at 2am!

I have never really celebrated it before but this time my sis and I are off to a fancy dress party and have decided to go all out on our costume and make up. I even have a half day off work tomorrow so that I can spend the afternoon firstly walking the dogs and then enjoying getting ready without the stress of time restrictions.

I hope you all had wonderful weekends? I had one busy day and one lazy day so the perfect combination for me :). On Saturday I spent the day in London with my mum and sister. We visited the Tower of London to see the ceramic poppies being planted in honour of the fallen British soldiers during the First World War. We then travelled across the Thames in the cable cars, walked around Covent Garden and then finally stopped for food and people watching before we got the train back home. Fantastic day!

Splatter nails have been on my to-do list for as long as I can remember. I absolutely love how they look and really admire other nail bloggers gorgeous pictures and colour choices. I just cant face the clean up that would be needed after blowing nail polish through a straw in the hope that some of it lands on your nail. Time to cheat and break out the stamping plates...

Its the weekend... Also I hate to rub it in but I have Monday and Tuesday off work and I cannot wait. A long weekend to enjoy celebrating my sisters birthday, dog walking and nail painting! Perfection. I am totally in love with these nails! For those of you who dont know I am a pink fiend! Matte or Glossy: Put A Bow On It

I decided to add my new favourite Matte top coat to an ultra glittery polish and was so pleased with the results that I am going to dedicate a whole post to it! The polish is China Glaze Put a Bow On It, a seriously blingy purple glitter packed beauty!
