Good evening lovelies!
It's Friday... which means a whole two days of time with my loved ones. What could be more perfect?
So tonight I thought I would continue with the Christmas themed nails and move onto a little freehand work... I hope you like my gift wrapped mani?
I started with two coats of Barry M Red Wine. This has an almost 'jelly' like finish to it and as much as I dont lean toward red nails I really enjoyed wearing this colour.
Then taking my striping brush and Barry M Gold Foil I freehanded the curling ribbon and bow design onto each nail. Far from perfect but not bad considering freehand work makes me nervous :-)
In the below pictures I added one coat of my new Northern Lights top coat in Gold. I really cant decide if it added a sparkly something special or spoilt the crispness of the red. What do you think?
I dont like this gold hologram as much as the silver one I used in my snowflake manicure yesterday but it is still pretty.
I hope you all have fantastic weekends - what plans do you have?
Louise xx
Beautiful, I really love how you did the bows they look perfect :) I like the top coat, does it shine more in person then it photographed? I always think sparkles when I think of presents :) I hope you have a great weekend with your loved ones. I'll be flying off to Holland to meet mine!
ReplyDeleteI also wanted to let you know I nominated you for a Liebster award :D http://www.ithinitybeauty.com/2012/12/i-was-nominated-for-liebster-award.html
