Nails: Skulls and Roses

Good evening lovelies

I hope you are all doing well? I had such an amazing weekend with my family and friends celebrating my sisters birthday. We had a garden party hosted by my dad on Friday, a full English breakfast by the river on Saturday and then a lovely meal with 8 of our best friends on the Saturday night. Samantha and I even built our own balloon tower while we were decorating the room ready for the meal - Impressed! :-)

This mani ended up nothing like I thought it would but I still liked it enough to share with you...

I started with two coats of Sally Hansen Blue Rose on all nails except my ringer finger, which is three coats of Nude Now. Both polishes are gorgeous with fantastic formulas and an absolute steal from the local bargain shop!

I really wanted to use my favourite rose print in the mani so I stamped using Barry M Denim which just looked so perfect over Nude Now.

I sat staring at that pretty rose accent nail feeling so uninspired... Mr LiPP got in from kickboxing so I asked him... what goes with roses? Skulls he said, so skulls it is!

Stamped using Barry M Gold Foil and the basic skull design found on plate BM 211. I need a better skull stamp than this but it will do for now.

How do you like the rose and skull combo? In particular I love this rose accent nail :-)
