Peacock Nails: Green and Navy

Happy Thursday

So these might be some of my favourite nails... for a long time... maybe even the whole of this year!

I love green, I love feathers and I am a little bit back in love with stamping...

A green base this stunning was just crying out for some lovely statement stamping so I reached for a dark blue and a plate from the original Pueen collection.

I dont have a blue Konad polish in my collection so when in doubt I always turn to Barry M. This Gelly polish called Blackberry is from the first collection in 2012 and I have never so much as swatched it let alone enjoyed it as a stamping colour. I am so pleased with how it turned out... as a general rule the Gelly range is a perfect consistency for stamping and the darker colours will of course work particularly well.

Cute little close up...

Something about these nails made me feel like I was wearing nail wraps. I dont know why, maybe its the uniformed stamping that I usually try to avoid but in this case was just the right thing to do.

What do you think? For those of you who dont like to wear green polish does this kind of stamping make it more wearable for you?
