Feathers that Loves Me Not

Happy Monday loves

I do hope you all had fantastic weekends? Little sis and I went to the most amazing wine and tapas bar on Saturday, we ordered a bottle of stunning Sauvignon and as many tapas dishes as we could name and sat for hours putting the world to rights! Perfect :-).

Whilst this may not be the most detailed or complicated nail art I have ever done... I cannot tell you how much I LOVE it! My favourite polish, with my favourite holo top coat and one of my most favourite stamps!

Swatch: Briarwood

Hey lovelies

My goodness where does time go? It is a busy one for me again but I musn't grumble as it keeps me out of trouble until the weekend! We finally had more direct sunshine at a time that I could actually paint my nails so of course I went straight for another beautiful new a-England...

Swatch: Sleeping Palace

Good evening lovelies

A bit of a late post from me as I'm only just home from a long day working in our sister company which is just over two hours away. Never mind at least I'm home now. I have been waiting for glorious sunshine to show you the next a-England polish from the stunning new Burne-Jones collection.

This is Sleeping Palace...

Fated Prince Skittlette nails

Happy Friday lovelies!

Mr LiPP and I (mostly Mr LiPP) are hosting a BBQ tonight for a few of his friends from work. Just a small gathering but we are really looking forward to relaxing after a long week at work with some good friends and some good food.

As I mentioned in my swatch post from yesterday I could hardly bring myself to cover over this beautiful polish, Fated Prince by a-England,  with nail art so I opted for a simple skittlette style :-)

Swatch: Fated Prince

Good evening lovelies

We are slowly getting towards the weekend and I cannot wait... we have not one, not two but three BBQ's to attend this weekend plus a whole host of other fun things planned with friends and family. The forecast is bright sunshine, blue skies and hot, hot, hot! :-)

With all this sunshine I have been able to get some fantastic daylight pictures of my new holo polishes.

What a Stunning Pair: a-England

Good evening lovelies!

How has your weekend been? Over too quickly I bet :-)

I had a nice family day on Saturday and got to spend time with my little niece Millie. On Sunday I had a marathon nail day and did three full sets of gel nail extensions as part of my quest to become a qualified nail technician. To be fair being a beginner and doing all three sets in a row at someone elses house was a bit of a mission and I am exhausted! However I am very grateful that those ladies were willing to let me practice on them, not to mention Jamie, Becky and Faye who also kindly let me put extensions on them last week.

Onto my nail of the day...

I could stare at these gorgeous polishes for hours and never get bored! Aren't they stunning?

I started with a very easy two coats of a-England Saint George. Quite simply the most stunning teal green holo polish ever and I would put it firmly at the top of my current list of favourites.

Then using a-England She Walks in Beauty I added glitters tips. This is described on the a-England website as an intricate and complex mix of large and small rose-coloured hexagonal glitters in a shimmering pale golden base that colour shifts with light and movement. I could not have said it better myself :-)

Look at the amazing holo's in both of these polishes - LOVE!

If you dont own Saint George then you must go and purchase it now. Its amazing!

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday evening
