Inspired By: Our table name cards

Good evening lovelies

As well as nail art I also enjoy dabbling in a little art and crafts. For as many years as I can remember I have always made name cards for our Christmas table and although we no longer stay in and cook the main lunch time meal we do still have a bunch of family over in the morning for sausage rolls and bucks fizz. These nails match the name cards almost perfectly.. :-)

I started with Sally Hansen Black Platinum as I needed something that I could mattify and make it look dark charcoal grey. Black Platinum has a frustratingly thin formula so I needed three coats for full coverage.

Once that was dry I added one coat of Essie Matte About You and left it to dry.

Using 2True Metallica Pink and Barry M Silver Foil I stamped my all time favourite print... Filigree.

Below you can see the finished name cards for Mr LiPP and I. I think these are the best ones I have ever made.

All name cards finished... Pink for Girls and Silver for Boys :-)

Do any of you dabble in art and craft projects? What kind of things do you like to make?

Lou xx

  3. I love the filigree too - nails and cards both look beautiful. I started painting glasses last year for presents. That is a lot of fun too :) xx
