Delicate Lace Tips

Time for something a little delicate. I was in the mood to try out this pretty little lace and bow design...

To start with I used two coats of No 7 Iced Mocha. This is one of my oldest nail polishes from back in the day when if it wasnt pale and neutral it wasnt going on my finger nails...! How times change :-)

I then used Konad Black to stamp this delicate little strip of lace across my tips and this pretty little bow to my ring and thumb nails

I really like this simple little look - I think a version using a pale colour for the stamping would make great bridal nails (Faye H - just an idea).

Take care

Refresh

Time to teal it up!

I dont have time for a whole new mani tonight and as my gorgeous foxglove and white was still in perfect order I thought why not add a few little highlights in a contrasting colour for a slightly edgier look?

What do you think? I love it :-)

The dotting colour is Totally Teal, its one of my older nail polishes and the only time I wore it as a base it had chipped within a few hours so it has been left untouched until now. Its perfect as a highlighting colour as its heavily pigmented and will show up against most bases.

I am off to face time a very happy sister-in-law and be introduced to the newest member of our family. I wont spoil the surprise by telling you if she had a boy or girl as I am still planning a special mani to reveal that and the name in the near future.

Foxglove & White

Good evening lovelies. Tonight I decided to push the boundaries and try a shade I have had in my untrieds for quite a while. I purchased it from Boots No 7 using the £5 off promotion so this was the bargain price of £2. It is quite hard to describe the colour as depending on the light it could be from the purple family or then again it could be the pink family?

What do you think?

The application of this polish was much better than I expected and the above picture was taken after two thin coats were applied with one coat of quick drying top coat. This polish looked good enough for me to not cover with a stamp but you know me I just cant resist...

I stamped using Konad Special Polish in White using BM 224. This is such a pretty pattern that I have used on many occasions in the past and I love how it works so nicely with this lovely colour from Boots.

I am really pleased with all my experiments so far this week - I am craving a good Barry M nail polish but am going to stay strong and continue my experiments without them :-). This is extra hard for me as a package just arrived with another 5 hard to find Barry M polishes in.
