Vivid Purple and Fantasy Fire

Tonight is going to be a good night.. Mexican food and great company. This night has been in the diary for ages for I am glad it has finally arrived. I am off to one of my favourite restaurants with two of my favourite people... my little sis Laus and our boss turned mate; Paul. The three of us are collectively called T43, which means that when we get together we have Tea For Three people :-).

Onto my nails of the day...


I recently showed you a really beautiful swatch post to showcase the lovely Vivid Purple from Barry M. Whenever I wear Purple or Navy I always want to add some depth to the colour and there is no better way to do that than add just on simple coat of Fantasy Fire by Max Factor.


This one simple coat adds something so very special. Fantasy Fire can be worn alone but would need a decent three or four coats and honestly why bother when one thin coat looks this awesome over a base colour?!

This is a beauty :-). I wore it for five days and obsessively stared at my nails at every opportunity!



Have you tried Fantasy Fire? If so which colour do you like it best over?

I'm off for chimichangas, sour cream and possibly a tequilla with a worm!!

    I've got Fantasy Fire sitting in the Helmer, but unused. I like to think I'm saving it for a special occasion. :) I love your pics!

    So beautiful :D. I admire my nails all the time when I wear that too lol. I am to be found holding my nails up towards the sun or a light, just to see that amazing green sparkle inside. Magic... xx

    I have this polish and I absolutely love it, besides the fact that it is very sheer and I have to apply to many layers to achieve the beautiful vivid purple! Great swatch!

      Next time you wear it just do one coat over a navy or purple base and you. An achieve the same beautiful finish xx
