Pink and Green Filigree: Favourite Nails

Happy Friday!

Its the weekend and I cannot wait. I mentioned earlier in the week that I have a lot planned and I am really looking forward to being busy in such great company. Tonight I am going to a beauty party with my sister and our best friends. There is no doubt I will enjoy an evening of testing out the latest make up samples, catching up with friends and hopefully getting a sneaky peek of any new polish collections that are yet to hit the shelves :-)

Here are my nails for the night which just so happen to be some of my favourites for a while...

This palest of pale powder pinks is called Decades of Dysfunction by Orly. This was on my lemming list after seeing swatches online a long time ago but once I got my mitts on it I only used it a few times due to a troublesome (runny) formula. Tonight I decided it was worth the perseverance and I am glad I did :-)

My regular followers will know that one of my favourite combinations is pink and green so this was the perfect opportunity to reach for Aglaia by 2True; a gorgeous metallic green. Since swatching Aglaia earlier in the week I have been dying to try it out for stamping and I was not disappointed.

Using my favourite print from plate Pueen 26 I stamped Aglaia over each pale pink nail. This stamped so perfectly that it is definitely in a league with any Konad colour I have. Impressed beyond belief!

Finally on my green accent nail I added some loose pink glitters in a simple polka dot layout. I cannot stop looking at these nails. I love them!

I hope you all have wonderful weekends. What do you have planned? Lots of fun, I hope!

  2. I really like this manicure - so pretty. I have one of those 2true metallics in a pinky red colour - as good for stamping as Barry M metallics :) xx
