Happy Friday!
Its the weekend and I cannot wait. I mentioned earlier in the week that I have a lot planned and I am really looking forward to being busy in such great company. Tonight I am going to a beauty party with my sister and our best friends. There is no doubt I will enjoy an evening of testing out the latest make up samples, catching up with friends and hopefully getting a sneaky peek of any new polish collections that are yet to hit the shelves :-)
Here are my nails for the night which just so happen to be some of my favourites for a while...

Loves Me Not Filigree Nails
Happy Monday lovelies
How was your weekend? We had such a busy one but it was all really good fun. Unfortunately the weather was not as amazing as we had hoped but that didnt stop us and we went ahead and either hosted or attended the BBQ's we had originally planned. On Sunday evening the weather recovered and the sun finally came out so we were able to sit outside and enjoy ice-cream :-).
Regular follows will know how much I adored Sally Hansen Loves Me Not the first time I wore it so I was excited to wear it again with one of my all time favourite stamped patterns.
The original swatch post can be seen here.

Black and White Filigree nails
Good evening lovelies
This is one of my favourite manicures to date... even if I do say so myself! I love the contrast of white and black together but with the addition of a super bright accent nail it was even lovelier :-).
I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I enjoyed wearing this manicure...
I started with a polish that I want to love but the formula gives me trouble so I tend to shy away from picking this out of my stash too often. Other bloggers rave about the formula of this polish but I always need three coats and for me that is a bad thing :-(. The polish in question is OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls... a very subtle grey white. In all honesty a fab base for this manicure but such a pain that it needs three coats!
My accent nail is two coats of Exposed All Nighter. This polish dries to a matt finish but a top coat of Northern Lights Hologram Gold soon fixed that. I added the black star shaped rhinestones just to finish this nail off.
Using Konad Black I stamped this gorgeous filigree pattern on all nails that had a base of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls (MBSW). I am so into this contrast and although I like to wear bright eye catching colours it did remind me how good black and white work together, and that I should wear it more often.
How do you like this finished look? Do you have polishes that everyone else loves but you struggle to work with? Thanks for reading :-)

Pretty Purple Nails and Filigree
Good evening lovelies
This is just a quick post to show you the nails I am wearing to go away with work for two days :(. This is traumatic for many reasons... I hate being away from Mr LiPP overnight, I will miss our puppies and of course I will have no access to nail related products! On the plus side, I get to wear these pretty nails for two days and also I will be with my little sister as we work for the same company. Road trip anyone ;) ?!
I started with a base of two coats of Barry M Indigo, which is a really rich blurple and alternates between navy and purple depending on the light source. I then added one coat of my new Color Club Total Mystery. Its a stunning blue colour containing glass flecks in pink and purple. The sparkle was a little camera shy but I will post some swatches of this next time the sun shines as it really is pretty.
For the stamping I reached for two of my all time favourites - Filigree from plate BM 201 and Butterflies from plate 307 using sparkly Barry M Silver Foil. Top coat Seche Vite as always.
By the time you read this post we will be on our Sisters Road Trip. No doubt eating as many almod croissants as we can, not to mention munching family bag size packets of crisps and listening to the new Pink album on repeat - we have tickets to see Pink next year and are so excited!!
I will be so glad to get home to Mr LiPP and the puppies.

Filigree & Butterflies
Anyone who knows me will know that I am a sucker for butterfly print so I just couldnt bring myself to remove my accent nails from Saturdays mani. However the hex sequins needed a refresh so I decided to just remove the polish from those nails and try out my fantastic new NYC Bubblegum Pink.
This is a lovely bright, sweet like candy pink and I love it! The coverage is good in two thin coats but if I wanted to wear this polish alone with no stamping over the top I would opt for three thin coats for full opacity.
The stamping for the Bubblegum Pink nails is done with Barry M Silver Foil with the filigree design taken from plate BM 201.
I purchased this NYC polish from Superdrug during a fantastic promotion which had these polishes at 2 for £2.99. As they usually retail for £2.79 it meant I got to chose a second one for 20p! How amazing is that? The second polish I chose is a beautiful pale green called Mint Macaroon and now I know how lovely Bubblegum Pink is, I am sure I will feature Mint Macaroonon on this blog very soon.
I hope you like this mani - feel free to check back in a few days to see what I come up with to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary.
