Just time for a quick swatch post tonight. This very pretty duochrome polish has been in my untrieds since last December. I had a Ciate advent calendar so each day I got the best surprise of a new mini bottle of nail polish. Better than a chocolate ANY day!

Where did the weekend go? Mine went past in a blur of catching up with friends, eating great food and of coursing drink great wine :). On Friday night our old boos Paul came to visit us so we went for a lovely meal at a wine bar and then out into the city for drinks with colleagues. It was a great night and we danced until the lights came up at 2am!

I have never really celebrated it before but this time my sis and I are off to a fancy dress party and have decided to go all out on our costume and make up. I even have a half day off work tomorrow so that I can spend the afternoon firstly walking the dogs and then enjoying getting ready without the stress of time restrictions.

I hope you all had wonderful weekends? I had one busy day and one lazy day so the perfect combination for me :). On Saturday I spent the day in London with my mum and sister. We visited the Tower of London to see the ceramic poppies being planted in honour of the fallen British soldiers during the First World War. We then travelled across the Thames in the cable cars, walked around Covent Garden and then finally stopped for food and people watching before we got the train back home. Fantastic day!

Its the weekend... Also I hate to rub it in but I have Monday and Tuesday off work and I cannot wait. A long weekend to enjoy celebrating my sisters birthday, dog walking and nail painting! I am so looking forward to tonight. I am taking one of my very good friends out for a meal to celebrate her birthday and also so I can thank her for all her help with dog sitting recently. What a weekend! I was lucky enough to have a four day weekend and took full advantage of not being in the office! Me and the doggies did lots of nice walks and ball games over the field, little sis and I spent lots of time doing nails and drinking wine and on Sunday we went to a one day festival! The headlining act was McBusted but before they came out we spent several hours enjoying Scouting For Girls (I love them!), Five and the Backstreet Boys! Talk about retro boybands :-). A fantastic time was had by all!!

Happy Fathers Day: England Football nails

Today is Fathers Day and my little sis and I are very excited to be spending quality time with our Dad. The three of us are going for a drink followed by lunch. Today my nails are football related for two reasons. The first being that unless you really are living in a cave you cannot fail to know that World Cup 2014 has just started, I am a huge football fan and get very swept up in the whole England craze. Secondly, football is mine and Dads thing. We talk about it, text about it, laugh and cry about it. Its our Dad/Daughter bond :).
