Good evening lovelies
Tonight I am going to show you this beautiful blue glitter which has been sitting on my shelf for way to long. I treated myself to three polishes from the Orly Naughty or Nice collection towards the end of last year. I have already shown you the stunning Miss Conduct several times, tonight is the turn of Angel Eyes and I am saving Halo for something special :-).
In the below picture you will see I am holding the bottle I used as a base colour for this manicure. Sally Hansen Brisk Blue is a really bright one coater and perfect for use in this manicure as the glitter in Angel Eyes is set in a very light blue almost clear base.
Once the base was dry I applied two gorgeous coats of Angel Eyes, which is made up of micro, small and medium glitters in blue and silver.
I then used Barry M Silver Foil to stamp the star designs from Cheeky plate CH5.
With the flash on...
Same picture with the flash off...
How do you like Angel Eyes? I love it. The colour is bright and the glitters are so shiny, it really was eye catching all day long. I will definitely be using the tin foil technique to remove this tomorrow :-)

Orly Perfect Pairs: 4: Copper
Good evening lovelies!
Time for another Orly Perfect Pair. This one is a beauty! I wasn't expecting to like this polish let alone love it but I am so glad I was proven wrong.
This is Flicker and Watch It Glitter... this polish was just begging to be shot outside in the winter sun :-)
Just look at the below stunning swatch of Orly Flicker... I will pause whilst you make oooh and aaah noises!
Flicker is a gorgeous metallic copper shimmery polish. In the below pictures you can see two perfect thin coats with no top coat.
On my other hand is Orly Watch It Glitter. A really pretty rose gold glitter topper that I must add to my collection in the future. I think this would look stunning over navy or a deep teal.
Here we have the Perfect Pairs still as individuals...
Once combined these two polishes really brought out the best in each other. Copper, Rose and Gold... a metallic feast :-)
Here are a couple of the pictures I took for Hayleys promotional campaign...
I adore these white lilies. Mr LiPP buys them for me :-). The flowers are massive once they are fully in bloom and last for a good 10 days, our house smells fantastic right now.
Do you like this finished look? Do you own any of the Orly Fired Up or Glam FX collections? So far I have found all of them to be gorgeous.

Joy really is a Joy !!
Good evening lovelies!
I just could not wait any longer to use my new China Glaze Joy as a stamping polish. I read that it would be perfect for stamping and I was not disappointed. Joy is super pigmented, dries very quickly has the added beauty of silver shimmer running through. What's not to like?
As you can see I started with a pretty pale pink base using Orly Decades of Dysfunction. As with many polishes of this barely there colouring it does require three coats for full opacity. Totally worth it :-).
Using China Glaze Joy from the Romantuque warm collection I stamped this simple but effective swirly pattern from Gal plate GA54.
I cannot wait to get more polishes from the China Glaze Romantique collection, if the others stamp anywhere near as good as Joy then my nail art options will be endless :-)
Do you own any polishes from the Romantique warm or cool collections?

Orly Perfect Pairs: 3: Brown
Good evening my lovelies!
Tonight I am continuing with my Orly Perfect Pairs posts. This one was a real hardship for me... I have never worn a proper brown nail varnish and was not in a desperate hurry to.
However whilst I am not converted and it is unlikely you will see brown feature as a main colour again anytime soon I did enjoy wearing this temporarily and could not help but think... Sweet Like Chocloate!
These two pictures show you the finished Perfect Pair look...
Below is the first (and probably last) swatch of brown polish you will see on this blog. However if I had to feature brown I am glad it was this one... Orly Rapture. Rapture is from the 2012 collection Fired Up and is a dark brown creme finish polish. Below shows two coats, no top coat, picture taken inside.
On the other hand is Orly So Go-Diva from the Glam FX collection. So Go-Diva is a thick clear base containing large and medium chocolate brown glitters. The below picture shows one coat with no top coat.
A side by side shot showing the two individual polishes...
Once the two polishes were layered together I honestly liked them a lot more than I thought I would and coupled with the fact that I got a rare glimpse of some winter sun and a snowy backdrop this Perfect pair actually won me over!
Remember when I said I could not help but think of Sweet like chocolate... left over Christmas chocolates made the perfect prop for this fun little picture.
Do you like brown? Until now I did not have a single brown in my collection but I did buy Rapture after doing this post as I felt like I should add at least one.
Would you wear this brown and glitter combo?

Orly Perfect Pairs: 2: Red
Good evening lovelies!
Are you ready for part two of the Orly Perfect Pairs feature? A quick re-cap... I did a swatch-a-thon recently for six pairs of Orly polishes, and over the coming few weeks I will be showing you the pictures I put together for my friend to use in her Valentine's campaign.
This is Ignite and Rockets Red...
Below is a swatch picture of Orly Ignite. This is a gorgeous medium blood red jelly finish polish from the 2012 Fired Up collection. Below shows two coats with no top coat.
In the below picture you can see one coat of Orly Rockets Red from the Glam FX collection. This bright glitter polish contains large and small red hex glitters in a clear base and I imagine it would look stunning layered over a black creme.
A nice little side by side shot...
One last shot of Ignite but this time taken outside in the winter sunshine. It really does have a gorgeous jelly finish and I had to buy a bottle of this for myself as soon as I had swatched it :-)
How do you like this rich red combination? I don't personally wear red all that often but I appreciate it is one of the most popular nail colours and I am really pleased to have Orly Ignite in my current polish collection.

I had real fun with these Perfect Pairs photo shoots and really enjoyed the chance to use a few theme appropriate props.

Orly Perfect Pairs: 1: Gold
Good evening lovelies!
Tonight I am going to share with you the first of six posts showcasing the Orly Perfect Pairs that I swatched for my friend so she can promote them in her new job in beauty wholesale.
I was very lucky the day I decided to swatch these polishes as although it had been snowing, it only meant the backdrop for the outside pictures was even more beautiful and also I got to take pictures in the crisp winter sun.
This first picture shows you the finished Orly Perfect Pair for Gold...
I started with a base of Orly Flare. This is a beautiful gold shimmer from the Orly Fired Up 2012 collection and was an easy and quick drying two coater. Flare is a really pretty shade of gold that would suit most skin tones.
This next picture is a swatch of Orly It's A Meteor (no underwear). This polish is designed as a topper and is made up of red, silver and gold glitters in all shapes and sizes. It's A Meteor is from the Glam FX collection and my below swatch shows just one coat.
A nice little side by side shot for you...
I could not resist adding this gorgeous shot of Flare taken outside. Just look at how it shimmers in the sunshine and of course I am loving the snowy backdrop :-)
Here you can see the finished look with It's A Meteor layered over Flare. Doesn't it look beautiful. Quite a light manicure but still plenty of glitter for those of us who love a little bling :-)
This picture has the flash on as it better shows the red and silver glitters...
One last perfect outdoor shot... I am so in love with this final look!
How do you like this pretty layered look? I am really looking forward to showing you the other five Perfect Pairs :-)

Orly Pink on Pink
Good evening lovelies!
Hope you are all doing well? Tonight I have a gorgeous polish to show you that I have finally ticked off my lemming list :-). I first saw this palest of pinks on other blogs about six months ago, after finally giving up on finding a stockist in the UK I ordered it from the States and I couldn't have been happier when it arrived in only 6 days. Hence this slightly picture heavy post... :-)
This pretty pale pink is Orly Decades of Dysfunction. I will admit now (quickly) that the formula was frustratingly streaky and required three coats (pretend I didn't say that) but the overall finish was lovely and the colour so very subtle.
I decided to pair this up with another favourite pink - Orly Miss Conduct. I used Miss Conduct for my accent nail and also as my stamping polish as I thought it was about time I experimented with something other than Barry M's :-)
This picture is taken with the flash on so you can see the true holo beauty of Miss Conduct...
Such a pretty pale pink...
Finally I topped the whole manicure off with Northern Lights Top Coat in Silver. I have been using this more and more as I find it dries just as quick as Seche Vite, does not cause polish shrinkage and also does not smudge my stamped patterns. Ideal!
One more picture because I just cannot resist
How do you like this palest of pinks? Do you like the contrast of pale and bold together?
Thanks for reading
